Terms & Conditions

Last updated 18 June 2026

These terms govern the planning and booking of travel arranged by Orbis Travel GmbH. By requesting a proposal or confirming a booking, you agree to the terms set out below.

Our role

Orbis Travel designs tailor-made itineraries and arranges the services that make them up, including flights, accommodation, transfers and guided experiences. Where we sell a combination of services as a package, we act as the organiser under applicable European package travel law.

Proposals and bookings

A travel proposal is an outline of a possible journey and does not constitute a confirmed booking. A contract is formed only once we issue a written confirmation and you have paid the agreed deposit. Prices may change before confirmation due to availability, exchange rates or supplier conditions.

Payment

Unless stated otherwise, a deposit is due on confirmation and the balance is due before departure by the date shown on your confirmation. Some services require full payment at the time of booking.

Changes and cancellations

Financial protection

Package holidays sold by Orbis Travel are financially protected as required by law, so that pre-payments are secured in the event of our insolvency. Details of the protection are provided with your booking documents.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for holding valid travel documents, meeting entry and health requirements, and arriving for departures on time. We strongly recommend appropriate travel insurance for every journey.

Liability

We take reasonable care in arranging your journey. Our liability is limited as permitted by applicable law and does not cover circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany. For questions about these terms, contact us at bernard@orbistravel.guru.
